Biography
Asep Maulana is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science focusing on Many/Multi-objective Optimisation and Complex Network Analysis from Leiden University, the Netherlands. He completed his M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (AI) at Dalarna University, Sweden, and earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia.
Prior to joining UIII, he worked as a Senior Researcher at Universitas Padjadjaran and gained extensive international postdoctoral research experience at Simula Research Laboratory (Norway) and Tilburg University (the Netherlands). His academic and research interests primarily focus on artificial intelligence, complex network analysis, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), multi-objective optimization, and computational neuroscience.
