Biography
Atiya Masood is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII). She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science specializing in Machine Learning and Optimization from the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She completed her M.Sc. in Computer Science and B.Sc. in Statistics at the University of Karachi.
Prior to joining UIII, she gained extensive academic and professional experience as an Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Data Scientist in New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. Her academic and research interests primarily focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Evolutionary Computation, with particular emphasis on Climate AI, data science, and optimization for sustainable development.
