Biography
Muhammad Al Atiqi is the Head of the M.Sc. in Data Science Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII). He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the School of Computing at Tokyo Institute of Technology, where he also completed his M.Sc. in the same field. He earned his B.Sc. in Physics from Nanyang Technological University.
Prior to joining UIII, he gained professional experience as a Data Scientist at technology companies in Indonesia and Japan. His academic and research interests primarily focus on computational social science, with particular emphasis on agent-based modeling and simulation. His research encompasses public opinion formation, computational approaches to social phenomena, and bottom-up decision-making for various social policies.
